I’ve never been a heels girl. I mean, I’ve tried. Maybe on two or three occasions in my life have I worn them. Don’t get me wrong—it’s not that I don’t like them or that I’m throwing shade at other lady friends for wearing them (get your heel on, girl!) I just can’t physically do them. I think I skipped a class or am missing a gene or something. This girl just can’t wear heels. But what’s a 5’5″ (5’6″ on my driver’s license;) girl to do when she wants a little height/forgot to take her new pants to Nordstrom to get that tricky hem? Enter: platform slides.
