Well this is it, fellow mo sistas and mo bros! Time to shave the ‘stache and head back to Clean-Shaven-Ville or ahem… grow back your beard. Scott and I attended the Movember Foundation’s Shave the Date event at the beginning of the month, and there was no way we were going to miss the official Los Angeles Movember Gala Parté at the Santa Monica Pier… even if it was raining like a mo. It seems a lot of others felt the same way! A solid group of mustachioed ladies and gents turned out to celebrate their hard work of raising money and awareness for improving the lives of men affected by prostate cancer, testicular cancer and mental health problems. Over 65,000 people in the U.S. got in on the fun this year, and to date, raised over 65 million dollars. The event involved a costume contest, food carts (with delicious burritos!), drinks courtesy of Jameson Black Barrel and of course, lots of facial hair.
