Cruising Around Marina Del Rey

Who needs dry land when ya got boats, you guys?! Scott and I took a short trip down the road to Marina Del Rey to celebrate Memorial Day and our friend Jenni’s birthday. (Hi Jenni!) We met a group of pals at the Fisherman’s Village, a cute little spot with shops, restaurants and a lighthouse. (It’s also known for being the former home to a famous banana stand.) We all chipped in to rent a boat from Marina Del Rey Boat Rentals. At only $15 per person, it was quite the deal! We spent a couple hours cruising around the Marina, snacking, sipping and waving at fellow boaters and paddle boarders. There were some shimmies involved too. And bows. And Rosé. If you’re ever in the area, grab some friends, pack a cooler and get ready to squeal and giggle at a few seals. Pro tip: Do not leave a cup of Rosé resting on the table. It will fall over into your lap.
